Medusa is an immersive audiovisual installation consisted of three parts : a wall projection and two layered projections on translucent fabric surfaces, aiming to create a dynamic, spatial environment. Drawing on archetypal imagery from the myths of Medusa and Hades, it explores desire, instinct, and the subconscious through symbolic, dreamlike visuals. Synchronized sound - featuring whispers, fragmented language, distorted water, and metallic tones, guides the viewer into a preconscious state between awareness and unconsciousness. Within this environment, serpentine voices and internal monologues reflect emotional tension and repression, while human figures rendered in vivid colors embody fear of the unknown and its transformation through awareness. By merging the digital with sound and the physical space, the installation invites viewers to become part of the work, aim to activate personal associations and encouraging introspection, as they navigate a timeless, symbolic field that reflects the boundaries between self, shadow, and perception.
